The Team Leader - Interior Cabinet provides world-class leadership to create a team atmosphere where members are challenged to maintain aircraft in the safest, highest quality, most efficient means possible, and to provide excellent customer service. This position manages all aspects of assigned aircraft projects including coordinating necessary resources, documentation and communication with appropriate team members and customers, to ensure timeliness and quality of these projects; manufactures and modifies aircraft interior components according to customer, design and engineering specifications  in a safe and organized work area and completes all required paperwork; and acts as a positive role model by mentoring team members, supporting company and shop decisions, and communicating goals and objectives. Performs Qualified Inspector (QI) as needed. Essential Job Functions * Manages all aspects of assigned aircraft projects to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the projects. Accepts full ownership of assigned aircraft projects from pre-planning to delivery of the aircraft through planning, prioritizing, and communicating with customers, team members, OEM's, outside contractors and vendors as necessary. Ensures the safety and security of customer's equipment, parts and aircraft during all maintenance phases. * Manages team by scheduling and assigning work for team members and monitoring day-to-day activities of team members. Holds team members accountable to Duncan Aviation approved policies and procedures include professionalism, safety and cleanliness of the work environment. Ensures the team's consistent use of appropriate technical data. * Oversees, completes and maintains accurate and timely aircraft project documentation required by Duncan Aviation approved procedures, OEM maintenance manuals and FAA regulations. Participates in reviewing of the work order and associated reports with appropriate management and sales personnel for profitability, accuracy, accountability, and documentation. Assists professionally and courteously in addressing customer billing disputes and work order reviews for maintenance actions performed by team members. * Promotes growth and development of assigned team members to promote team cohesiveness and trust by monitoring and evaluating team members' performance in a professional, positive, accurate and timely manner. Recommends training needs and programs to the department management and identifies and recommends technical and non-technical training opportunities for team members.
