Manager, Marketing Operations & Insights

Data and insights power the marketing strategy at Qualtrics. With signature events like X4, a global sales organization, and a fast growing business, your mission will be to harness the power of data analytics to drive sophisticated marketing strategies. This role goes beyond dashboards as you will provide strategic guidance that informs our global marketing initiatives, directly influencing the growth trajectory of our field marketing, demand generation, product marketing and business development efforts. As a people leader, you will cultivate a team of experts, empowering them to push the boundaries of what's possible while driving measurable results. Your influential position will interface directly with senior sales, marketing, and operations leadership, providing insightful recommendations that underpin our marketing success and fuel market expansion.

How You’ll Find Success

You’ll know you’re doing an excellent job when you achieve strategic alignment and efficiency of your team's output, their mastery of our marketing tech stack, and the deep insights that inform company-wide strategies. We expect that within your first year, you will have revolutionized how we interpret customer data, elevated the effectiveness of our marketing channels, and exponentially increased the ROI of our marketing campaigns. With your experience in martech and analytical roles, you possess the ability to translate complex data into compelling action plans, and know how to create the systems to enable others. Communication is your forte; you converse fluently with data scientists and marketing and sales leaders alike. Proactive project management is second nature to you, ensuring the timely delivery of initiatives that solve complex marketing problems creatively and effectively.

How You’ll Grow

You will be at the forefront of our marketing efforts, providing you with the day-to-day challenge of solving complex problems in an ever-evolving landscape. As you steer our operations toward success, you’ll master the art of strategic decision-making and analytic problem-solving while navigating complex marketing challenges. Your leadership role will involve coaching and developing a team, guiding your team towards operational excellence and foster their professional development.

Things You’ll Do

  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of marketing analytics and operations professionals spread across global locations, managing their performance, development, and productivity.

  • Use advanced analytics to provide actionable insights that support the day-to-day and strategic decisions of our field marketing, demand generation, and SDR teams. Provide additional insight as to how marketing can support Sales, Customer Success and Partner.

  • Champion data-driven decision-making processes and tailor marketing strategies to cater to different markets and customer segments on a global basis

  • Create and manage a unified view of all marketing data sources, providing insights and recommendations to optimize the customer journey and enhance lead generation and nurturing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing campaigns are informed by solid analytics and tailored to drive demand and support the sales pipeline.

  • Stay updated with the latest in marketing technology and analytics, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions where appropriate.

  • Drive continual optimization of the marketing automation processes and workflows to improve team efficiency and marketing outcomes.

  • Oversee the global marketing technology stack and drive the strategy for its development and optimization to support marketing and sales objectives.

  • Drive efficiency through improved technology strategy (both internal and external tools)

  • Maintain, monitor and improve integrations between marketing technologies and other business systems to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.

  • Strengthen relationships with key martech vendors and partners to leverage available tools to their full potential.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role managing marketing analytics in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • 3+ years of People Management experience, managing remote and culturally diverse teams with proven leadership and team-building capabilities.

  • Expert knowledge analytics tools such as SQL and Tableau, with an ability to integrate systems and interpret complex data sets.

  • Strong familiarity with B2B marketing technology a must-have, including platforms such as Marketo, LeanData, HighTouch, 6sense, Bizzabo, and more.

  • A track record of leveraging insights to drive marketing strategy for field marketing, digital marketing, and SDR channels.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present data-driven narratives to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong project management acumen and the capacity to balance strategic long-term goals with immediate marketing needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
