Vivint Accounts Payable Specialist in Provo, Utah

Job Description

Summary:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this individual will support Vivint’s accounts payable department.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and ensuring attention to detail in data entry.

  • Heavy scanning and validation, against scanning software promptly.

  • Heavy interaction with customer care, ensuring clear and concise communication regarding Customer care refunds; this position serves as the bridge between the Accounts Payable department and Customer care.

  • Heavy contact with vendors, ensuring excellent vendor relations.

  • Occasional vendor payments via CC.

  • Statement reconciliation of vendor accounts.

  • Ability to work efficiently, in a fast-paced environment.

  • Mail out of all payables checks, including accurate back-up remittances, for vendor payment application.

  • Special projects, as assigned by the manager, are dependent on workload.

    Required Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Eye for detail and accuracy in day-to-day activities.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Solid understanding of the Accounts Payable process.

  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.

  • Proficient in related financial software products (SAP preferred)

    Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.

  • Accounts Payable experience or related work experience is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • 2 + years of customer service.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
