Seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Warehouse Clerk in our Receiving Department. This position is located near the airport in Portland, OR. REQUIREMENTS; * High school diploma or equivalent * At least 6 months warehouse experience * Working knowledge of MS Office Products to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry into Access JOB DUTIES: * Unload trucks. * Visually inspect product. * Process receiving paperwork. * Perform data entry into Pallet Tracker, Orders in House, and Progress Tracker databases and spreadsheets. * Operate forklift. * Perform material handling and tracking. * Load outbound trucks; commodity labeling, handling, storage, and tracking. * Complete Truck/Gate log. * Process incoming shipments. * Take digital pictures and upload to folders. * Record pallet weights and verify material receipt against manifest/paperwork. * Resolve issues as required. * Move material into storage location using forklift and/or pallet jacks. * Meet daily quotas. * Locate material in physical pallet storage area. * Organize and arrange material to maximize storage space. * Ensure no material is damaged as it is placed throughout the warehouse. * Update Pallet Tracker database. * Stage material going to work areas. * Route materials to the proper functional areas. * Provide weights and dimensions for Shipping and Logistics for outgoing palletized material. * Stage, weigh, and label outgoing commodities. * Cross train in other areas as needed. * Work on sort line as needed. * Frequently reach with hands and arms. * Lift 70 pounds. * Push / pull 1000 pounds using a pallet jack. * Follow verbal and written instructions.
