We are looking for an experienced Project Delivery Coordinator to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This position will directly assist the Transportation and Water Project Delivery teams.

As a Project Delivery Coordinator (PDC) you’ll have the opportunity to work in our Portland office and be responsible for supporting project/program activities, working in conjunction with Project/Program Managers. You’ll play a critical role in the success of our project teams by taking on tasks from the Program Managers allowing them to focus on client relationships and accountability. You’ll oversee the daily administration needs, communications, project/program support functions, and Project Manager-assigned tasks. You may also provide a wide variety of administrative, and staff support services as needed. Using your experience, you’ll be comfortable interfacing with project managers, engineers, technical staff, project controls, project accounting, sub-consultants and clients.

You’ll be able to work with minimal supervision, multitask effectively, use independent judgment, and have the initiative to take on new tasks and challenges. You’ll use your experience-based judgment to evaluate situations and develop solutions and work with minimal oversight to achieve assignment outcomes and manage their own workload. Your work is frequently complex, proprietary, and confidential, and requires strong administrative skills as well as needs excellent inter-personal and team communication skills.

We'll Expect You To:

  • Run Oracle reports

  • Create Budget Summary reports through Excel

  • Have a basic understanding of project budgets

  • Work with sub-consultants and clients

  • Have knowledge of the project life cycle

  • Be the point of contact during the project

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • A basic understanding of fundamental project management methodology.

  • Possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Adept at taking responsibility for multiple assignments, prioritizing conflicting tasks, and working with little supervision to meet deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work on a highly professional level with clients and internal team members.

  • Ability to work well independently and on a team.

  • Must be willing to help where needed.

  • Ability to work with, and take direction from, multiple levels of professional staff.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline, or equivalent experience, preferred.

  • Design, Engineering or Construction background.

  • A basic understanding of SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, or Bluebeam

  • A general understanding of Microsoft Project (scheduling), PowerPoint, and Visio is desired, but not required.
