JUBITZ Lube Technician in PORTLAND, Oregon

Jubitz Service Center is hiring a full-time Lube Technicians! Our Lube Techs are responsible for the safe and efficient application of a wide variety of lube service activities in heavy duty trucks, including, but not limited to vehicle inspection, wiper replacement, light replacement, and battery installation as well as changing oil and filters. Safely uses a variety of equipment, including, but not limited to air guns, air jacks, drill, buffer, hammer, lifts, and miscellaneous hand tools. Keeps shop well stocked with filters, oil, grease, lubes, lamps, and minor parts.

  • *Wage: *$18 - $20/hour, depending on experience

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Team player
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience which includes being able to:
    • Air brake diagnosis and repair
    • Brake diagnosis and repair
    • Wheel bearing and suspension diagnostics and repair
    • Front end diagnostic and repair
    • Engine Diagnostics and repair
    • Transmission diagnostics and repair
    • Differential diagnostics and repair
    • Tank valving diagnostics and repair
    • Electronics diagnosis and repair
    • Delivery hose and nozzle repair
    • Vapor hose repair and replacement
    • Exhaust/ DPFE repair and replacement
    • General maintenance of vehicles
    • CDL

This position functions primarily in a busy diesel automotive repair shop facility and will be required to stand for prolonged periods of time. The employee must be able to work in a loud work environment with frequent distractions. Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
