Robert Half is anticipating the need for a customer-focused Front Desk Associate to support a growing company in Portland. The Front Desk Associate will serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment who have prior front desk experience and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.

• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and redirect calls as necessary.

• Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payments.

• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and effectively.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

• Assist with administrative tasks, such as processing mail, filing, and data entry.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a positive guest experience.

  Requirements

• Previous experience in a front desk setting. Relevant customer service experience will be considered!

• Strong phone experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and reservation systems.

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

• Friendly demeanor.
