Responsible for assisting doctors/nursing staff in ensuring that the basic needs of each patient are met. Daily tasks might include things like feeding and cleaning the patient or monitoring vital signs and health.

Principal Accountabilities:

Will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks.

• Will be responsible for managing phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, checking patients in upon arrival.

• Will collect co-pays, verifying insurance, processing referrals scanning documents into electronic medical record files, processing medical record releases, and other clerical duties as assigned. EPIC user

• Responsible for assisting doctors/PA staff in ensuring that the basic needs of each patient are met.

• Will managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, maintaining/prepping exam rooms.

Required:

HS Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written

• Patient, compassionate nature

• Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and PA's.

• Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information system

• Computer literacy essential

• EPIC EMR experience desired.

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.
