JPMorgan Chase Financial Analysis - Vice President in Plano, Texas

Take the plunge and join the WCP ( Wholesale Client Profitability) team that is responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial analysis and oversight, and coordination of firmwide strategic initiatives.

As a Vice President in the WCP Client Reporting space, you will be responsible for delivering client profitability information assuring that compliance/governance is applied and appropriate levels of confidentiality are maintained. You will be expected to provide leadership across the Financial Business Management teams and interact regularly with the F& BM Managers, the line of business CFOs and peers across Finance & Business Management and the business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform financial reporting and analysis at client level globally

  • Create financial business cases supporting business initiatives

  • Prepare presentations and generally provide financial analysis or metrics on a variety of reference data to senior management such as Products, industries and client locations.

  • Partner with WCP Production to assure that data quality is at its best by reviewing the monthly control reports, performing reconciliations as needed

  • Maintain proper control documentation to be in line with Firmwide Evergreen standards

  • Manage relationships, communicate and present to various levels of stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature

  • 7+ years of work experience, in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), SQL basic knowledge and willingness to learn new tools

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely

  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly

  • Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information

  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
