DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will be responsible for performing skilled work at the journeyman level in a variety of trades in order to prepare, maintain, and repair the region's Wine & Spirit Shoppes, warehouses, and offices. Work involves a variety of general maintenance including carpentry, electrical, painting, flooring, and plumbing. You will have the opportunity to utilize a variety of construction and maintenance equipment and tools to perform assigned tasks. Bring your talent and ambition to our department!

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:The starting salary for this position for new commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirements: You must possess of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
