Responsible for pre-registration of patients including the coordination of scheduling tests/procedures for outpatient services and updating demographic and insurance information, collection of copays & financial guidance, as needed. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, time-sensitive environment. Multitasking is a must in the Pre-Registration world as is being able to work independently, be self-disciplined, a team player, productive, confident & self-motivated to meet the daily algorithm/challenge. There is a potential opportunity to work remotely. Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology is required. Basic knowledge of computers is required. Previous healthcare or medical office experience is required. Must type at least 35 wpm.
