Job Description

A large financial enterprise in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join their Cloud Security team. As this team is dealing with a large amount of mergers and acquisitions, they need to get those existing environments engrained into theirs. This role will focus on delivering cloud security engineering to help establish security code elements across public and private multi-cloud environments. You will provide security and engineering expertise and guidance to the Cloud Programs, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Policy as Code (PAC). As an Engineer, you will design and develop Cloud Infrastructure Security requirements across cloud, container, network and storage tiers to deliver security capabilities. You will be accountable for securely enabling the cloud journey through a delivery-based program based on automation and guardrails-based approach. You will drive automation, zero touch and idempotency through "everything as code" across infrastructure and cloud components. This position demands a well-organized; action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work; work on multiple initiatives simultaneously; establish and maintain an outward looking view on new and evolving network edge technologies; and an ability to mature and operate business critical, end-to-end processes and solutions -- while ensuring a great user experience.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ yeas of experience within Information Security with exposure with multiple domains (Infrastructure, Network, Application, Vulnerability, Data Loss Prevention, End User Security, IAM, etc).

-Proficient in working with Terraform and Docker/Kubernetes

-Experience with utilizing GitOps workflows and working with Jenkins/CICD pipelines for automation.

-Understanding of public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP). -Information Security or Cloud Certification preferred -- CISSP, CISM, CCSP or similar.

-Kubernetes Admin Certificate or something similar. null
