University of Pennsylvania Instructor in Sleep Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of sleep disorders. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.

Responsibilities may include performing comprehensive evaluations and management of patients with sleep disorders; interpreting polysomnograms, multiple sleep latency tests, and home sleep apnea tests; attending in the sleep disorders clinic and sleep telemedicine program. Clinical responsibilities will be at the Sleep Division (3624 Market Street) at the University of Pennsylvania. Teaching responsibilities may include training residents and fellows in addition to precepting medical students and other trainees in the field of Sleep Medicine.
