UnitedHealth Group Auditor / Analyst - Remote in Sayre, PA in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work any 8-hour shift starting between the hours of 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM EST. Our office is located at 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA, 18840.

We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule from Monday - Friday or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Training will be conducted on - site.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the qualitative analysis of documentation and deficiency analysis within the medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility.

  • Monitor delinquent record and provide potential suspension notifications to clinicians.

  • Analyze records for completeness.

  • Note missing elements and verify / enter deficiencies into Epic system.

  • Assist providers with completion of the legal medical record.

  • Re - audit incomplete charts and update in Epic system.

  • Routinely access and safeguard confidential information.

  • Participate in department quality monitoring and improvement process.

  • Monitor transcription database and assist with correction process.

  • Provide clerical support for coding team.

  • Ability to multi - task and prioritize workload.

  • Other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • 6+ months of experience within a clinical OR hospital healthcare setting

  • Ability to complete on - site training at 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA, 18840

  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift starting between the hours of 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM EST from Monday - Friday

  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Reside within a 30-mile commutable distance of 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA, 18840

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
