Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (PRODUCTION MACHINERY MECH) in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will review job orders, initiate job plans, estimate work hour for job plans, related instructions and drawings to determine materials needed to accomplish the outlined work. You will review blueprints and the bill of materials to determine material needed to accomplish specified work. You will initiate and maintain job plans with estimates of man-hours required to accomplish work. You will determine appropriate shop work centers, schedule work requests for material procurement and insure that delivery is coordinated with shop work schedules. You will review man-hour estimates supplied by Planners and Estimators, discuss apparent discrepancies with shop supervision, and suggest needed changes.
