Daily responsibilities will include handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This long-term contract / temporary to hire HR Assistant position is a terrific opportunity and is based in the Peabody, Massachusetts area.

Major responsibilities

• Use the internet to research potential customers

• Service employee database records

• Perform various administrative duties

• Develop new employee on-boarding orientation materials Requirements - Approachable and appropriate interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment

• Proficiency with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

• Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

• HR related experience desired

• Highly professional and able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

• Strong familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Command of Microsoft Excel

• Administrative Assistance experience desired
