RMC is hiring for a Network Administrator who will provide support to an RDT&E environment at Patuxent River, MD.

The selected applicant will possess the following skills:

• Provide application support to the Network Infrastructure, Private Cloud, and RDT&E environment.

• Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.

• Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.

• Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.

• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.

• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.

• Perform network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

• Implement and maintain DoD security measures and provide artifacts to maintain system accreditation.

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.

  Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree and three to ten (3-10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required.

• Six (6) years of additional related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

  Certification Requirement:

• The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE).

  Security Clearance Requirement:

  · An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start. · Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
