National service provider to the transportation/shipping industry is hiring a Senior Accountant for their headquarters in Parsippany. Day to day responsibilities include

· Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.

· Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

· Manage and prepare sales and use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions

· Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments.

· Prepare and maintain lease accounting schedules and disclosures.

Candidates for this role should have 5+ years of experience in the above responsibilities, a degree in accounting or like and strong systems skills, including experience participating in a implementation and strong Excel

skills. Great role in a growing department with possible promotion opportunities.
