Snap Inc. Associate Program Manager, SMC Operations in Palo Alto, California

We are looking for a Associate Program Manager, SMC Operations to join Snap Inc our Small and Medium customer sale channel. This role will join a foundational team which will propel the SMC strategy and vision forward through operational excellence. Through defining, implementing and managing the SMC operational structures and processes, this role will be pivotal in contributing to the scale and growth of the SMC business unit.

The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record as a strong operational contributor, supporting the analysis, design and implementation of workflows and processes across a range of functions. They have experience in Sales and Operational processes, outsource engagements, program execution and scaling workflow opportunities. They are a strategic and analytical problem solver and skilled operator with the demonstrated ability to successfully deploy new structures and coordinate execution.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the expansion of the SMC sales channel operational engine

  • Identifies and creates the processes necessary to get work done

  • Partners with others to get work done, connecting tasks and projects to larger initiatives

  • Builds relationships across a variety of functions and services in multiple locations

  • Separates and combines activities into efficient workflow

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including SMC Revenue Program, Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Data Operations, Partnerships, Measurement, and Data Science to achieve business goals

  • Support the evolution of SMC business unit operational metrics to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiencies.

  • Partner with Sales Ops in defining operational solutions development, including areas such as tooling improvements for sales & marketing, trainings, QA, and sales communications

  • Work with a team to execute complex and time-critical projects through a strategic and prioritized approach for resolution. Use data to influence decisions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Process mapping, workflow design and optimization expertise

  • Knowledge of Inside Sales operations

  • Knowledge of Business Marketing

  • Knowledge of Ad Sales and potentially also ad sales and ad tech experience

  • Familiarity in working with Ad Tech, media or digital advertising industry

  • Ability to learn to design and implement scalable processes across the customer lifecycle

  • Experience in facilitating project milestones and deliverables across teams

  • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills and ability to multitask.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and is comfortable with ambiguity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 1+ years experience program management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of operational excellence in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Organizational, project management and execution skills with ability to own cross-functional projects.

  • Problem-solving, structuring, analyzing, and strategy skills with ability to translate analysis into actionable plans.

  • Ability to communicate effectively as a change agent, influencing leadership, product, marketing, and team members to take new actions and shift the daily behaviors of a team

  • Experience with Sales Processes and KPI Reporting

  • A team player who’s willing to get their hands dirty and help where needed

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $78,000-$117,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $74,000-$111,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $66,000-$100,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
