Our team is seeking a HR Assistant | Receptionist responsible forcontributing to Wenger Corporation's corporate strategy of providing an exceptional customer experience by creating welcoming interactions with every caller, guest, and team member, while providing HR and Administrative Services support. This position will be onsite Monday through Friday; therefore, candidate must reside within a drivable distance to our headquarter facility in Owatonna, MN. At a minimum you will need: High school diploma or GED Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook) 1+ year experience in a HR, Customer Service, Reception, or Administrative support role It would be great if you also have: Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration As a HR Assistant | Receptionist a typical day will include Administrative Duties such as: Serves as the Company's primary receptionist, greeting callers, guests, and Team Members with a smile and offer of assistance Monitors and controls building access and ensures compliance with visitor management procedures Effectively manages code blue calls Efficiently routes incoming deliveries Sorts and disperses incoming HR mail Responds to HR and Administrative Services related inquires and requests Provides surge support to the Administrative Services Assistant Maintains work instructions for scope of responsibility Maintains a neat, clean, organized, and welcoming work area Responsible for the coordination of the annual Team Member Appreciation event Recruitment and Onboarding Responsibilities: Assists with a variety of recruitment related tasks, as needed / requested by the Talent Acquisition Team Manages open positions listing for internal publication in weekly newsletter Manages the pre-employment screening process Coordinates Self-Onboarding and establishes new hires in HRIS Manages IT tickets Coordinates and creates New Hire Orientation schedules Conducts HRIS New Hire orientation Completes Form I-9, EVerify Coordinates Mobile Device program Prepares hard copy files for New Hires Benefit offerings include: Paid Time Off 9 Paid Holidays Generous Profit Sharing Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Spending Accounts HSA, FSA, DCFSA Company Paid Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match Company Paid Life Insurance Supplemental Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Put your passion to work in an exciting, rewarding industry that inspires innovation today!
