University Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and Quality Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her unit.

This is a Day Shift position (5 days a week/8 hour shift).

  Qualifications

• Preferred 2 to 3 years of experience working in a leadership role in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.

• Masters or bachelor’s in nursing

• Florida RN License
