Lockheed Martin Project Planner Intern in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Project Planner Summer 2024 intern in Orlando, Florida.

Candidate will be responsible for leading a minimum of one project and participating in several others supporting the execution of the functional excellence plan for the Production, Planning and Control department at a large manufacturing facility.

Students who can work well in a teaming environment, have good organization skills, and have good computer skills will be the most successful

Basic Qualifications:

Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or Master's degree program.

Desired Skills:

Candidate will be working on their bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, MIS, Finance, Industrial Engineering or Business.

Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office and comfortable working in a detailed computer system.

Candidate must be self-motivated and display initiative to get tasks completed effectively, efficiently, and timely.

Candidate must have strong written and communication skills. The most successful candidates thrive working in a team-oriented environment both as a participant and leader.

Lean Six Sigma knowledge or past application.

Experience working on projects with teams as a leader and participant or for other organizations through school or extracurricular activities.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
