Charles Schwab Manager, Systems Administrator in Orlando, Florida

This role will be responsible for system administration specific to the physical security realm including access control, video management, perimeter detection, facial recognition, visitor management, and various ancillary systems. This role will also deal with hands-on troubleshooting of physical security devices and need to be able to identify issues or concerns and appropriately engage with vendors for remediation.

  • Utilize a Work Order Management System to properly track and resolve end-user reported deficiencies in security hardware and/or system.

  • Monitor access control and video monitoring systems for health analytics and troubleshoot hardware and/or device malfunctions for resolution.

  • Report security system metrics for system health and operational needs as required.

  • Submit service request and liaison with local vendors to remedy and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Service Level Agreements.

  • Partner with various departments, including Schwab Technology Services, Networking, Project Management, to bring security specific networked devices online.

  • Schedule automated tasks using software support tools and scripts.

  • Scheduling, planning, and performing system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.

  • Scheduling, performing, and monitoring system backups and, when necessary, performing data recoveries.

  • Work with security integrator service technician’s when onsite to resolve reported issues. Need to be flexible and available when service technician is onsite.

  • Supports system and devices outside of business hours as needed, including rotating on-call schedule and system maintenance windows.

  • This is an in-office role 3 days a week, with the option to work from home 2 days a week.

  • 2-3 days travel each month to our corporate office in Westlake, TX.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Project Management experience preferred.

  • Expereince with Schwab systems and processes

  • 3-5 years minimum of Experience in Security Technology or a related field.

  • Experience with the following systems applications/hardware.

  • Lenel OnGuard

  • Genetec

  • Visitor Management Systems

  • Traka

  • Corrigo

  • AXIS IP Camera Configuration

  • Mercury Access Control Hardware

  • Speed Radar Devices

  • Perimeter Detection Systems

  • Facial Recognition Devices

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
