Things You Should Know

Our residency programs have a few requirements that must be met prior to starting:

  • Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree (We LOVE our Associate degree Grads!)

  • An Oregon RN license (some units require secondary licensure in the state of Idaho). Some units are accepting temporary licenses to allow you to start earlier!

  • An active and unexpired Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network.

  • Additional certification may be required depending on the unit.

  • Make sure your resume is up to date and thorough in describing any applicable experience and education - particularly your clinical rotations!
