Providence St. Joseph Health Nurse Educator - Infusion in Olympia, Washington

Description $7,500 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. The Infusion Nurse Educator is responsible for the initial clinical orientation and ongoing competency testing of the RN Clinicians. This position works closely with Providence Home Infusion's contracted home health agencies and long term care facilities to assist with infusion skills programs. The Infusion Nurse Educator advises the Clinical Manager on development or revision of nursing clinical policies, procedures, and patient education materials. Additionally, this position provides direct infusion nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, clinic, or alternate living site. This position functions as a professional role model by demonstrating competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other health care workers to promote quality patient care, and acting as a resource for nursing staff in other clinical settings. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire - if working in this location. Idaho Registered Nurse License upon hire - if working in this location. 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting 2 years of RN home infusion experience Why Join Providence?
