Description The Home Based Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for acute care patients in the patient's home environment in collaboration with the HBAC Command Center. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. Or Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. In compliance with the Providence Health & Services, criminal background check is required for this position upon hire, based on assigned duties. Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. 1 year of Medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
