Description

Title: Rate Coordinator

Department: Pricing

Location: Corporate Office

Reports to: Director of Corporate Pricing

Purpose:

Maintain consistent workflow processes and coordinate with additional departments for Pricing accuracy. Essential Job Duties:

  • Maintain rate files for Pricing department to ensure seamless billing

  • Maintain workflow processes to ensure driver pay deadlines are met

  • Work closely with customers, BDM’s, Billing Department, CSCs, and Collections Department to resolve any rate issues

  • Assist with internal and external variance related research and resolution

  • Answer internal and external customer calls and emails

  • Maintain customer information screens and ensure accuracy

  • Appropriately document and assign error codes to rebill invoices

  • Provide supplemental assistance to Billing when necessary

    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Carries out duties assigned by the Supervisor, Corporate Pricing as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications for Considerations:

  • High School Diploma, or Associate’s Degree Preferred

  • Intermediate MS Office experience

  • Basic business math principles

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

  • Self-starter with detail-oriented work habits

  • Able to maintain confidentiality

  • Display professional demeanor

  • Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with wide range of individuals

  • Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules

  • Knowledge of basic company employment policies and procedures

    Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, and talking, hearing and visual activity.

  • Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds).

    Working conditions:

  • Normal office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copier/printer/scanners.
