The Office of Community Research and Evaluation located within the Center for Community Engaged Learning is hiring student Research Assistants. General job responsibilities are: Prepare research summaries (primarily in the subjects of housing,safety,health,and education) from research articles and web searches, Prepare tables and presentation material, Assist with focus groups and interviews, Perform simple qualitative and quantitative analysis and code data on SPSS, Assist staff with design,execution,and evaluation of research projects, Assist in developing online and paper surveys Assist in preparing reports for stakeholdersAdditional job-related duties may be assigned. This position prefers current WSU students,either undergraduate or graduate. Work-study preferred but not required. Please check with the financial aid department for eligibility. Hours are flexible,up to 20 hours a week.
