General Job Description

The Clerical Admin's primary responsibility will be overseeing tasks and processes related to data entry and management within the HomeBuys enterprise resource planning software (NetSuite). They will ensure that outbound merchandise is properly staged and organized while constantly verifying that shipment data is entered and maintained within ERP.

The Clerical Admin's secondary responsibility is carrying out the logistics of sorting, pricing, counting, and packing merchandise. They must have a strong memory that allows them to recall information about products, pricing details, and the warehouse layout, so they can easily access the inventory they need.

We are looking for a candidate who is positive, reliable, self-motivated, and a team player who thrives in a rapidly changing distribution center environment. A qualified candidate will be collaborative and results-driven with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

· Ensure shipments and deliveries at the loading dock within ERP

· Mark pallets and skids for easy identification and retrieval

· Locate and retrieve organized products or goods as needed

· Document the quantity of the products received, stored, and distributed

· Copy, print, fax, and e-mail documents as needed, whether to Buyers or Vendors

· Receive and document Transfer Orders within ERP software

· Perform physical counts when needed and maintain inventory records

· Transport and distribute items to various departments within the warehouse

· Prepare lists and labels of items for shipment

· Address Vendor and Buyer inquiries

Education & Experience

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products

· Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly

· Friendly and positive attitude with excellent communication skills

· Ability to adapt quickly to new policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment

· Basic math skills

· High attention to detail a must

· ERP experience preferred but not required

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

· 1-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required

Hours & Compensation

· 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

· Starting rate $15/hour
