Job Overview The Install Technician will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain total door systems. Including; low voltage security, electronic access control, surveillance systems / devices and mechanical doors, hardware and frames. Essential Job Functions -Assist with installing, troubleshooting and repairing low voltage systems and devices -Setup and program card access and IP security camera networks -Lay, route and secure cable following best practice and code requirements -Install, mount and configure various electronic access control and surveillance devices -Communicate with Sales group regarding project process and issues -Train customers on features, functions and operation of installed electronic access control and surveillance systems -Assist Mechanical team with hardware, door and frame work orders -Keep IAS Manager updated on work order status -Participate in after- hours on-call program rotation -Provide preventative maintenance inspections at customer job sites -Remote support for customer s electronic access control and surveillance systems -Mentor IAS Tech Apprentice and IAS Tech I -Other duties as assigned
