Description

Boston Government Services (BGS) is seeking a Document Control Administrator to support the Corporate Office in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, revise, and edit operational, technical, and administrative procedures and documents, track throughout the review process, resolve and incorporate comments, issue, and distribute, as appropriate, per BGS-QA-05,Document Preparation and Control

  • Receive and maintain documents in the Records Management System per BGS-RM-01,Quality Assurance Records.

  • Maintain records on the BGS Records Management SharePoint site.

  • Check, edit, and assign control numbers to a variety of documents as required to ensure standards are maintained.

  • Coordinate the issuance and distribution of new and revised documents.

  • Performed technical editing and writing.

  • Format and standardize material for reports, presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral.

  • All work is to be performed in accordance with BGS corporate plans and procedures, as applicable.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in the development of technical procedures.

    Experience / Skills:

  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, etc.).

  • Advanced data entry skills.

  • Technical writing and editing skills.

  • Knowledge of NARA and DOE Records Management requirements.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Mastery of English grammar, mechanics, and usage.

    Starting compensation for this role typicallysalary ranges between ($26.00/per hour) and ($35.00/per hour) commensurate with experiencerelative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
