Lineage Logistics ITSM Implementation Project Manager in Novi, Michigan

A Lineage Logistics ITSM Implementation Project Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of large, complex, global technology projects. The role involves the coordination of technical and functional resources across multiple teams and often requires working concurrently on several global projects. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring overall stakeholder alignment, including communication both inside and outside the team and the organization, dependency identification and resolution, proper prioritization and execution of project tasks and milestone establishment and tracking.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Manage large technical projects (i.e., involving up to 20+ resources) by establishing strong relationships with functional and technical teams and integrating requirement definitions, project planning and resource direction to meet team and corporate objectives

· Manages program/technical support operations involving multiple projects including the transition of several highly technical projects to production usage

· Partner with project sponsors, project teams, other project managers and product managers to help evaluate technical and business requirements and to identify, develop and implement approaches and solution alternatives

· Work closely with third parties, including consulting and technology partners to delivery on business priorities and adjusts as necessary to effectively direct program/technical support activities

· Integrate inputs and schedules from multiple sources to create comprehensive project plans with an identifiable critical path, task dependencies and major milestones and manages the project plans and schedules ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time and quality parameters

· Adapt project plans, schedules and resource assignments as required throughout projects to respond to emerging requirements, changing project dynamics and project risks

· Effectively communicate overall project status including milestones, project deadlines and relevant risks to teams, stakeholders and company management

· Develop project charter, requirements and scope documents and manages projects throughout the full project life cycle through the creation, collection and maintenance of project

documentation in accordance with standards established by the Program Management Office (PMO)

· Assist in the development of reusable project collateral that can be leveraged across projects and the broader organization

· Oversee all manner of project activities, including the testing of functional and technical components of the final project solution

· Mentor teams on best practices, process improvement and project management skills

Education and Work Experience:

· University degree or equivalent work experience in software engineering, computer science or finance / business administration

· Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience managing IT Technology and Enterprise Software Implementation projects

· Experience managing both small- and large-scale projects

· One year or more of ServiceNow project management experience in a full-platform, global environment is strongly preferred

· Experience in IT Service Management, Operations Management, SaaS implementation is preferred

· One or more ITIL, ITSM certifications is preferred

· Project management certification is preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Understanding of ITIL concepts

· Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management

· Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies

· Ability to direct the planning and management of the program and retains overall responsibility for performance including cost, schedule, deliverables, and contractual compliance

· Ability to deliver on commitments while working on multiple projects concurrently

· Hold team members accountable, set clear performance expectations, resolve performance issues and keep project teams engaged, focused and on task

· Hands-on experience with a variety of project delivery methodologies

· Experience working in a matrixed global organization where success requires broad orchestration of resources and services

· Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies, and policies

· Willingness to act decisively to improve project and organizational performance and address project issues

· Use leadership skills to align project and department goals with the organization's and sponsor's goals

· Lead a project team, create and maintain group cohesiveness, interact with internal and external customers and effectively manage partner relationships

· Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, agile environment

· Possess a willingness and the flexibility to work non-standard hours to meet time-critical, global project deadlines

· Act as a team player; be willing to ask for help and provide it to others

· Ability and desire to learn and apply new technologies and business concepts

· Understand your skills and your talents and apply them appropriately

Salary Range: $97,500 - $130,000
