Insight Global Financial Analyst (Controller) in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina

Job Description

An employer in the Charlotte NC area is seeking a South East Regional Financial Analyst/Controller to serve as vital business partner to the Regional VP, Regional Sales & Marketing Director, Regional HR Director, and the Regional operations team. This role is crucial in actively developing, supporting, and executing a financial strategy that aligns with the operational strategy of the region.

This person will be responsible for 3 main things:

1). Financial Planning & Analysis

-Develops variance analysis to explain monthly performance drivers.

-Evaluates trends in data to identify opportunities for improvement.

-Forecasts revenue and EBITDA using market demand, backlog, and cost.

2). Accounting Functions Oversight

-Partners with payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll.

-Collaborates with AR, Credit and Collections by reviewing metrics and engaging with the team clearly and collaboratively.

-Follows and enforces internal controls.

3). Logistics

-Collaborates with the Regional Vice President to align strategy and financial performance that aligns with Maxim's financial goals.

-Builds rapport with Regional Leadership team to ensure alignment of financial goals and action plans.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

5-7+ years of work experience

FP&A experience

Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP

PowerBI experience (or similar BI tools)

Comfortable with quarterly/annual travel within the SE Experience in construction, equipment maintenance, equipment rentals, etc null
