A local CPA firm is seeking a Senior Audit Manager, where you'll take charge of client projects, ensuring their success from start to finish. You'll be hands-on, overseeing projects on-site, maintaining timely deliverables, and exceeding expectations. Key skills include active listening, effective teaching, and adept problem-solving. Responsibilities:

• Independently handle tasks with a proactive approach, ensuring ownership and efficiency.

• Supervise audit, review, and agreed-upon procedures effectively.

• Make critical accounting and auditing decisions, offering timely solutions.

• Develop and manage time budgets for projects, guiding staff accountants to success.

Technical Proficiency:

• Advance knowledge of GAAP, OCBOA, and financial presentations.

• Proficient understanding of GAAS and common audit procedures.

• Resolve issues encountered on engagements, guiding staff accountants effectively.

Team Collaboration:

• Foster team identity and support within and across teams.

• Promote cooperation within client service and engagement teams.

Effective Communication:

• Clearly convey technical issues to clients and staff.

• Tailor written communication to meet audience needs.

Professional Skills:

• Seek new challenges and leadership opportunities.

• Understand client businesses' operations and significant tax issues.

• Establish credibility with clients and prioritize effectively.

• Address issues promptly and encourage high performance.

Client Service:

• Prepare engagement letters and modifications with client approval.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• CPA license.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CCH Products, Knowledge Coach.
