Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Foreman candidates to lead crews of 8 individuals in installing conveyors in a new construction setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the full scope of work, be able to meet deadlines, and manage production and performance expectations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 8 individuals.

• Install conveyors accurately from the blueprints.

• Teach and guide local new hires.

• Communicate clear expectations for daily tasks.

• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and maintain a safe work area.

• Perform housekeeping and general clean-up duties.

• Work 58+ hour work weeks.

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of experience as a Foreman.

• Ability to install conveyors from prints.

• Strong communication skills.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 40 ft.

• Possession of basic hand tools and steel-toed safety shoes.

• Detail-oriented with a good attitude.

• Ability to operate power tools correctly.

• Reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Construction, Welding, Industrial Installation, Pneumatics, Rigging, MIG welding, Hydraulics, and Conveyor systems.

• Journeyman experience.

• OSHA 10 certification.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Experience with Maintenance repair, Structural steel, Iron work, Boom lift, and Fabrication.

Work Environment

New construction job site. Shift: 6:00am to Finish (Monday - Saturday). May work some Sundays. The role involves standing or walking on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift.
