GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The main responsibility is to produce the best possible service and ice for our clients. The ice crew will assist in all aspects of ice making and rink maintenance.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Your primary responsibility is to support each ice event in a professional manner and insure the ice is ready for each event.

Check your work area and report any deficiencies or problems.

Insure that you are located in the proper job site and that you have the necessary tools to complete your assignment.

Insure that proper safety precautions are used by yourself and the other ice crewmembers.

You are responsible to support the Zamboni driver in all aspects to include the removal of any debris left when the Zamboni leaves the ice.

Return all tools and equipment to their proper place after each use.

Inspect your assigned areas of responsibility for cleanliness after each event.

Assist operations personnel in picking up after events.

Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated ability to follow direction. Have a clean personal appearance. Have a knowledge of ice making and maintenance. Ability to maintain and repair hockey goal nets. To be able to keep working area neat and orderly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ability to speak, read and write English.

Ability to access all areas of the Facilities.

Ability to perform physical labor and endure cold temperatures.

Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday.
