Summary

Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Revenue Integrity Charge Specialist to join our Revenue team!

Schedule: Full-time Day Shift (Remote) / Monday - Friday / Every 7th weekend rotation

The Revenue Integrity Charge Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate CPT and/or ICD-10 documentation for the patient billing process. The Charge Specialist will accurately document services performed and will use the appropriate codes representing those services.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain documentation regarding charge capture processes, perform regular reviews of process adherence, and identify missing charges.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders regarding impacts of system change requests and upgrades to processes to ensure capture accuracy.

  • Perform charge entry, charge approvals, and/or quality charge reviews.

  • Works closely with providers to educate on improved documentation to support coding.

  • Works with other key stakeholders regarding impacts of system change requests and upgrades on charging processes to ensure continued capture accuracy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Certification in Coding (AAPC or AHIMA) required or enrolled in Program

  • At least 1-3 years related experience required
