Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator - Subject Matter Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support for the Global Command and Control System - Joint family of products. • In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience as a Systems Administrator.

• Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting software applications, addressing complex enterprise-level systems issues, and ensuring the overall functionality and reliability of systems.

• This position requires senior-level expertise, strong system administration skills, and a comprehensive understanding of air combat command roles.

• You will work closely with a team of professionals, utilizing your expertise to resolve technical challenges, provide operational support, and maintain system performance.

  Minimum Requirements

• Senior-level experience in system administration, preferably with a focus on Global Command and Control System - Joint systems.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software applications and address complex enterprise-level systems issues. Strong system administration experience, including expertise in handling 160+ components.

• Proficiency as a System Administrator for Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

• Experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC) environment, preferably AOC.

• Comprehensive understanding of air combat command roles, ideally with military experience.

• Current CompTIA Security+ certification. Ability to work onsite, as this position requires physical presence.

  Preferred Requirements

• Experience working on GCCS Systems

• Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.

• Experience in customer interface, diplomacy, and understanding of military protocol.

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including minor travel to locations such as Newport News, VA, CONUS AOC, and Hanscom AFB - MA.
