Associate Design Technician

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

KBR is looking for an Associate Design Technician under direct supervision to work to perform defined tasks according to procedures and established practices. Using your experience within CAD software, you will assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Under direct supervision, Update piping & instrumentation drawings based on red lines.

• Under Direct Supervision, Update Instrument diagrams arrangements and schematics.

• Under direct supervision update the instrument database.

• Interacts with engineering and leadership team members.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills (MUST MATCH THE PROFILE CODE – DELETE WHEN POSTING):

• 1+ years demonstrated experience with computer assisted design (CAD) software AutoCAD or MicroStation.

• Smart Plant P&ID experience preferred.

• Strong computer skills required.

• Strong communication skills are required along with ability to work in a cohesive team.
