What you'll bring
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
2-3 years of web software or mobile applications - professional or open-source experience writing JavaScript
1+ years of professional or open-source experience with a JavaScript MVC toolkit in a Single Page Architecture. Most notably React framework but also including AngularJS, Dojo, Backbone.js, Knockout, or Ember.js.
1+ years of experience with CSS frameworks such as LESS and Sass.
Familiarity with standard javascript async patterns (closures, callbacks, promises, error handling)
Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
Strong experience with Java/J2EE
1+ years experience with consuming and creating web services (REST or SOAP)
An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
An understanding of unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

A helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems
Strong desire to learn and grow
Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks

Preferred Experience
Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large-scale, consumer-facing web applications
Experience with social, mobile, cloud/SaaS, big data, or analytics
Familiar with the development challenges inherent in highly scalable and available web applications
Always Be Learning: Experience with open source technologies (if no practical work experience w/ Big Data, or cutting edge front-end technology—you’re prototyping and/or researching the up-and-coming technology and solutions
Experience with various, modern web frameworks
How you will lead
Successful delivery of high-quality web software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
