A $250+ bn asset manager is looking to add a Senior Investment Professional to its research and origination team focused on the nontraditional asset backed securitization market. The team is focused on originating and executing securitized private placement transactions.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will help generate, analyze, and execute new business by interacting with asset originators/aggregators, commercial and investment banks, finance companies, asset managers, and industrial companies. The position is being created to contribute to a growing platform of securitized financings and loan pool purchase opportunities in consumer and commercial finance, mortgage finance, renewable-energy, aviation, rail, container, and other specialty finance sectors. The candidate must be able to lead and direct other team members’ review of the credit, cash flow, legal, and structural risks associated with new transactions.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of Structured Finance origination and analysis experience specifically with Private ABS.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or CFA preferred.

  • A strong background in credit research

  • Excellent written and presentation skills

  • Experience with cashflow modeling, scenario and sensitivity analysis for asset-backed transactions is a strong plus.

  • An assertive self-starter with a positive attitude
