Chobani Senior Communications Specialist (New York, NY) in New York, New York

Summary

The Senior Communications Specialist will utilize his/her understanding of marketing and public relations to contribute to the development and execution of Chobani brand communications for different products in the Chobani product portfolio. This person will also be responsible for working closely with agency partners on various initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities

•    Take the lead on framing out pitch drafts and proactively reaching out to media for product launches •    Own and update media lists •    Provide real time competitive updates on relevant industry/regulatory news •    Analyze and interpret the media landscape in order to incorporate trends into our media strategy •    Ship product sample to relevant media in conjunction with media pitches •    Responsible for coordinating key meetings, contact reports, managing budgets, stakeholder approvals, legal reviews, ongoing status reports and keeping the process moving •    Ensure that our strategy and messaging aligns with our company’s values •    Plan and execute end-to-end media campaigns, working closely with internal stakeholders (Platform Brand Managers, Creative Team, Field Marketing, Events and Shopper Marketing Team, etc.) •    Collaborate with in house Events Team to execute communications for Branded Events and Sponsorships  •    Create a consistent and meaningful measurement solution to look at tone of coverage, message resonance, share of voice on priority topics, and reach •    Proactively research fitting award opportunities; handle award submissions •    Perform other duties as necessary  

Requirements

•    Bachelor's Degree required •    2-5 years relevant communications experience stretching across broadcast digital, social, events, and sponsorships •    Exceptional writing and storytelling skills •    Strong interpersonal communication skills •    Experience pitching and trusted media relationships •    Effective project and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously •    Proven ability to think creatively •    Trustworthy and credible; high level of integrity and excellent sense of judgment •    Proven ability to be nimble, dynamic and able to adjust to changing business needs •    Ability to understand and bring diversity and inclusion into work •    Must possess a strong work ethic and be an enthusiastic team player •    Ability to maintain confidentiality
