Google Revenue Lead, Media, Entertainment and Distribution in New York, New York

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in a customer-facing, online advertising role in relevant fields (e.g., news and publishing, broadcast, media and entertainment, search and apps, eCommerce).

  • Experience working in the online advertising industry with a focus on ad technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of digital advertising business generation in display, mobile, and video with Google solutions.

  • Knowledge of Media and Entertainment content owners’ business growth solutions and ecosystem.

  • Knowledge of digital industry trends (e.g., header bidding, privacy, etc.).

  • Ability to understand business generation metrics and apply them to potential optimizations.

  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and succeed in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and partner relationship skills.

The Media and Entertainment team within Global Partnerships works with Google's key media partners to drive business growth through Google's platforms, products, and insights. The team focuses on current and future business opportunities for our partners by building trusted-advisor relationships with C-Suite and senior executives at partner organizations, being deeply knowledgeable about the industry that the partner operates in, and by thinking entrepreneurially to help drive new business opportunities and areas of focus for the partner and Google.

In the rapidly evolving and complex Media industry (e.g., Broadcasters, Programmers, Free Ad Supported TV Apps, Cable Operators, and Video Distributors), you will help grow our relationships with our most strategic media partners by helping them set-up and optimize their use of the Google Ad Manager (GAM) platform to drive new and existing programmatic business opportunities. You will look to help our partners grow business across all platforms (e.g., app, web, etc.), with an emphasis on CTV.

In this role, you will work closely with other members of the Account team and cross-functional Google teams (e.g., gTech, GTM, Revenue Intelligence) to support day-to-day management and growth across your book of business. You will also be the key Google Ad Manager product expert, providing training, implementation support, growth optimization, business support, and strategic consulting to the partner.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$152,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Act as the Google Ad Manager platform programmatic expert for Media Partners, providing specialized support at any stage including implementation, day-to-day questions, and business strategy.

  • Build and maintain business relationships for Google Ad Manager partners through close collaboration with partner account owners of all levels of seniority on a daily basis. Meet frequently with partners to present business generation optimizations, business collateral and training materials, and to address analytics and reporting needs.

  • Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of Google Ad Manager’s partners, products, and services as it relates to growing the book of business.

  • Understand partner needs and opportunities for growth and improvements on existing business.

  • Project-manage time-sensitive escalations related to business performance changes, product issues, and challenges specific to a given partner.
