AIE’s New York office is looking for a Project Assistant, who will support our busy Bridge Inspection and Evaluation department.Scope of Responsibilities:• Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements• Attend site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members• Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team• Assist in drafting and issuing project proposals, RFP’s, and preliminary schedules• Support Social Media campaigns and posts• Assist in preparing project sketches using AutoCAD or MicroStation• Assist in preparing project reports, updating progress report, invoices, monitoring hours/budget, either daily, weekly or monthly basis as required.• Responsible for field office including, ordering all safety and office supply.• General administrative responsibilities which may include, but are not limited to: invoicing, scheduling, travel arrangements, shipments, expense reporting, and filing. Required Competencies:• Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Word; Excel; PowerPoint for presentations; SharePoint is preferred, and candidate can have basic skills and manager willing to train a "quick learner" on SharePoint. Outlook with extensive background in database systems.
