The team is also responsible for compiling newsletters, briefings and other material.

Strong written English, excellent news judgment, a close eye for detail, skills for and experience selecting visuals and other graphics to accompany stories and good organizational and prioritization skills are essential. A demonstrable interest in current affairs, economics, business and finance is also key, as is an interest in how news is consumed.

Applicants should have a sound understanding of financial markets and corporate and economic news. Some previous reporting experience would be an advantage.

An ability to quickly grasp software and technology is important, especially in the areas of news production and data handling.
