Job Description:

• Conduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, psychrometrics, controls, fixture loading, pressure loss, duct sizing, and writing specifications.

• Effectively manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedules.

• Utilize AutoCAD & Revit to complete drawings.

• Calculate power and lighting loads for new and existing building systems.

• Review local and national codes and perform code analyses.

• Design and implement life safety (fire alarm) systems.

• Select and design layout of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, electrical panels, emergency generators, UPS systems, and power distribution systems.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering Degree

• 5-8 years of experience in electrical design for building systems

• Experience utilizing AutoCAD MEP + Revit

• Experience doing load calculations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience managing small to medium-sized projects

• Effective time and budget management

Work Environment:

• Office 4 days a week, remote on Fridays.

• Team consists of 2 Architects, 6 Engineers, Principals, and Admin Staff (about 15-20 members).
