The Apple Pay team is rapidly growing, entering new markets and adding innovative new features to our products. We are seeking a top-flight product professional to help drive the growth of the Apple Wallet. In this role, you will help chart the strategic direction of Apple Pay and support execution against that long-term strategy. You will partner directly with the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce business, engineering, human-interface, Wireless Technology and other functional teams across Apple. You will also work closely with external partners such as payment networks, issuers and other ecosystem players to deliver results. We are seeking significant experience building and launching consumer products, passion for helping users achieve a healthier financial life and familiarity with financial services and payments. You will be encouraged to guide teams leading sophisticated, cross-functional, projects and drive progress by diving into technical details when needed while also thinking through the end-to-end experience. You should combine technical proficiency, a strong sense of user experience, tact and business insight. You should have excellent presentation abilities and be able to drive a concrete vision and requirements that rally the team and delight customers!

Key Qualifications

  • Experience building consumer products working with cross-functional teams such as designers, engineers, and data scientists as well as external partners

  • Experience handling regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services space

  • Experience and familiarity with bank technology stacks (including API data access), financial technical infrastructure and financial regulatory frameworks

  • Effective communicator who can synthesize sophisticated topics, distill key business dynamics, and communicate optimally with senior executives

Description

Help envision and build new product features and strategies; define detailed use cases for engineering and design Evangelize and build consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties Collaborate with Human Interface, Engineering, other Product Managers, Legal, Business Development, Marketing, Analytics and Operations to launch products Drive efforts with strategic partners on product development Represent business interests during design and development phases Work with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the various partners

Education & Experience

BS/BA Degree. MBA a plus.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
