Machine Rebuild Mechanical & Hydraulics

We are seeking a skilled Machine Rebuild Engineer with a background in mechanical and hydraulics to join our team, ensuring that our equipment continues to meet top-notch performance standards.

Are you skilled in Machine Rebuild with mechanical and hydraulic experience performing scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on injection and blow molding machinery? Do you have experience in new machine installations, machine relocation between plants, and performing audits, evaluations and tasks to ensure machines are in top condition? Location: New Berlin and Delavan (Other travel may be required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your strong mechanical machine rebuild experience to disassemble, refurbish, and rebuild machines.

• Ensure that rebuilt machines meet or exceed the performance standards of brand new machines.

• Disassemble, refurbish, and re-manufacture machines to meet brand new performance standards.

• Work from sequences to create machine paths, both roughing and finishing.

• Train and assist co-workers to enhance their skills.

• Complete necessary paperwork and effectively use our ERP system.

• Perform general maintenance on production tools and equipment.

• Collaborate with designers to verify models and the machining of tools and parts.

• Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical, and optical checking equipment.

• Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and repair methods.

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications, using proper tools and verifying conformance of parts.

• Travel between our New Berlin and Delavan locations as required.

• Apply job site safety rules and practices.

• Install and troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

• Read and interpret tool detail, assembly, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.

• Maintain a strong mechanical aptitude.

• Learn and apply new job-related information in a timely manner.

• Demonstrate professional competency and workmanship in the execution of maintenance tasks.

• Participate in safety and performance communication meetings.

• Maintain a high standard of integrity and professionalism.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with a technical certificate with a minimum of 5 years mechanical/hydraulic rebuild experience.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.

• Prior experience with blow molding and/or injection molding rebuilds required.

• Knowledge of CAD software.

• Adaptability to changing environments, assignments, responsibilities, and priorities.

• Ability to perform component inspection using various metrology tools (OMM, calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.).

• Technical ability to effectively apply written and verbal instructions from procedures, documents, and blueprints.

• Strong understanding of job site safety and the ability to complete company-specific safety orientation.
