Machine Rebuild - Electrical

We are seeking a skilled Machine Rebuild Engineer with a background in electrical to join our team, ensuring that our equipment continues to meet top-notch performance standards.

Are you skilled in Machine Rebuild with electrical experience performing scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on injection and blow molding machinery? Do you have experience in new machine installations, machine relocation between plants, and performing audits, evaluations and tasks to ensure machines are in top condition? Location: New Berlin and Delavan (Other travel may be required)

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your strong electrical machine rebuild experience to disassemble, refurbish, and rebuild machines.

• Ensure that rebuilt machines meet or exceed the performance standards of brand new machines.

• Perform all aspects of electrical assembly for machines and their accessories.

• Build control panels and perform panel wiring.

• Work directly from blueprints and schematics to wire and install PLCs, control panels, lights, sensors, and blower fans.

• Familiarity with MACO, Allen Bradley, and Beckhoff PLC systems.

• Utilize hand and power tools for machine assembly.

• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.

• Read and analyze mechanical and electrical prints/bills of material for equipment assembly.

• Verify part conformity to BOM and prints, recording necessary changes.

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications using the correct tools and verifying part conformance.

• Collaborate with project managers and project engineers (electrical and mechanical) to ensure successful machine builds.

• Apply safe work practices and policies, emphasizing safety and plant performance.

• Demonstrate professional competency and workmanship in maintenance tasks.

• Participate in communication meetings to foster safety and plant performance.

• Strictly adhere to safety rules and practices, including company-specific safety orientations.

• Exhibit a strong working knowledge of job site safety.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with a technical certificate with a minimum of 5 years electrical rebuild experience.

• Strong electrical experience and background.

• Prior experience with blow molding and/or injection molding rebuilds required.

• Willingness to travel between New Berlin and Delavan.

• Capability to lead machine installation, relocation, rebuilds, refurbishments, and upgrades.

• Ability to plan audit frequency for machine condition assessments and conduct annual performance evaluations.

• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.

• Prior experience with MACO, Allen Bradley, and Beckhoff PLC systems.

• Excellent reading and interpreting skills for blueprints, schematics, and customer specifications.

• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety procedures.
