Position Summary/Description:

The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associate positions in the field of Analysis, broadly interpreted and including harmonic analysis, the analysis of partial differential equations, dynamical systems, geometric analysis, etc. The positions will be funded in part through the National Science Foundation Research Training Group ( RTG ) award: Partial Differential Equations on Manifolds. These are one-year positions that are renewable for a maximum of three years pending satisfactory performance. Duties of this position will include teaching two semester-long courses during each academic year, supervising students, and continued strong and independent research.
